About the Presentation:
This presentation describes the use of computerized topic analysis (text analytics) to segment and analyze tweets by US presidential election candidates in 2016. Andrew will give an overview of how Latent Dirichlet Analysis (LDA) can be used to automatically generate topics in textual data and discusses the potential to use LDA as both a static “batch” and real time analysis approach for textual data.
About the Presenter:
Andrew Jeavons founded Mass Cognition in 2015, providing automated content and word proximity analysis to his clients. He developed the Loquor™ text management and analysis system used by Mass Cognition.
Andrew has held several executive positions at research companies, having worked in the survey software and market research industry for over 20 years in Europe, the USA and the Pacific Rim. Most recently he was the CEO at Survey Analytics, and prior to that Managing Director of Nebu USA, and President of MI Pro USA.
As a thought leader, Andrew has authored several award winning papers and is a well known speaker at industry conferences, including ESOMAR. He is a frequent writer and presenter on all subjects related to surveys, text analysis, and market research.
